Sandringham is the much-loved country retreat of Her Majesty the Queen, and has been the private home of four generations of British monarchs since 1862. The house, set in 60 acres of stunning gardens, is perhaps the most famous stately home in Norfolk and is at the heart of the 20,000-acre Sandringham Estate.

The unique Bressingham Gardens are renowned worldwide for their horticultural Excellence. Privately owned by the Bloom family, Adrian Bloom and his father Alan have each created a six acre garden, the Dell and Foggy Bottom. Together with four linking gardens there are now over 8,000 species and varieties on display. Take a trip on one of the four railways at Bressingham, the collection of working locomotives will take you round the magnificent gardens and woodland, or ride on the Victorian steam carousel. A trip to the locomotive sheds brings the power and the glory of mighty steam engineering up close. The National Dad’s Army collection lets you wander through Walmington-on-Sea looking at original props and vehicles from the series.
